Fine Arts

Middle School courses provide younger students with a hands-on approach to music, visual arts, and creative dramatics. The disciplines are taught with a multicultural focus and provide for introductory or advanced experience, depending on the student's background.

Upper School students begin to apply more advanced concepts of perspective, improvisation, and practical application to their study of the arts. Each discipline emphasizes an appreciation of the variety of artistic form in the world around us. Students are encouraged to develop their own sense of style, to take artistic risks, to trust their instincts and to find joy in creating.
