- Service Requirements for the class of 2008:
- 60 hours of service must be completed before graduation in order to receive a diploma.
- Last day for seniors to turn in service forms is Friday, May 23, 2008.
- Service Requirements beginning with the class of 2009:
- Students must complete 15 hours of service per year to receive a Passing transcript grade.
- Service performed in the summer will count toward the previous academic year.
- All forms must be submitted by the end of the first week of each school year.
- Students may not receive credit for more than 10 hours of service to or at the University Prep community during their entire high school career (i.e., NHS Pie Bake, 8th grade retreat, auction, open house).
- Service forms are available online and in the Main office.
- Students will receive credit for direct action service in which they are working face to face or hands on with the recipient of the service. This includes but is not limited to tutoring, serving meals at a shelter, park restoration, camp counselor, etc.
- Credit will not be given for service that is indirect in its action. This includes fundraising, collection drives, sending letters and travel times.

- Completed forms should be given to the Registrar, Ms. de la Noval.
